Training Schedule

April: 17th, Training @ Wolfskin VFD 6:30 pm Wolfskin's station. Topics to inclue Engine and Tanker operations ( a first view of the Wolfskin's supertanker and the Arnoldsville's Engine Working together.)
24th: Chapter 2 and 3 of the firefighters handbook. (training to be conducted @ 1101's residence)
May 1st: Donning and Doffing of all PPE, Firefighter crawl, and SCBA testing.
May 8th: Chapter 4 of the Firefighters Handbook (to be held at 1101's residence)

Welcome to the Arnoldsville Fire Department Blog

This will be the first post that we have ever done, so please bear with me in this area. There have been many new and exciting things happen to Arnoldsville FD. First and foremost : Our new engine has arrived. 2007 International E-one Pumper. with its 1000 gallon tank and 1250 gallon per minute pump, Quad cab with rescue body, we are more able to provide the lastest technology in fire supression activities. Please feel free to stop by the department and take a look and ask any questions you may have at any point in time.

Just had to be the first to comment! Glad to see the AFD blog and look forward to lots of stories.

Enjoyed the Wolfskin-Arnoldsville joint training session last night. Good to get to know and work with you all in a more relaxed situation than the ones we usually see each other at.

And - nice engine!
